Recommend movies for me to watch, goddammit!
I got no class for 3 weeks and I don’t have a job. My mom got fired from hers and is also sans class for 3 weeks. We’re going to Seattle to confirm whether or not we made a terrible mistake by choosing to move to Portland instead.
Besides that fun scouting assignment, I’m also dedicating my time during this break to learning things that might get me some money before I die, alone and bitter, so I’m practicing my programming and compositing. However, this isn’t culture-building enough so I also want to catch up on watching good film. If Edgar Wright can rent out a goddamn theatre to play the movies he’s never seen than, shit, I can take suggestions and watch them (while drunk and possibly live tweet out of my ass about ‘em). Reply to this with your favorite movies or just good examples of fine cinema.
[Disclaimer: if you’re one of those Fangoria/Kevin Smith groupies, we do not have the same taste and I will not watch your selections. When I say “good examples of fine cinema,” I mean The Godfather, not The Godson. Exceptions may be made depending on how much Christopher Lambert is in it or if it was directed by Albert Pyun or Uwe Boll.]
Tumblr won’t let you reply unless I pretend I’m Californian and end my sentences like they’re questions?
